Installing Corbeau/aftermarket seats (any extra parts that I need?)

you need to order the correct seat brackets to go with the seats
for 99-04 mustangs the brackets are
E1302T
E1303T
you also have the option of using a double locking seat adjuster which gives you a more solid seat if you plan on doing autocross for $10 more than the standard single locking adjuster.

i thought you could use the existing ford manual brackets on the aftermarket seats? or is there two peices. one on the floor of the car and one attached to the bottom of the seat. i thought you could leave one of them stock ford, i think it was the peice attached to the floor of the car.

someone please clear this up! thanks.

There isn't a piece attached to the floor of the car, just the bolt locations. I did research before I bought the seats, and didnt hear so much as a whisper about transferring the stock brackets.....which would only apply to the passenger side anyway, as the drivers side is powered, and would be a menstruating monster to try and mate up to the Corbeau seats.

thats the idea i think. you have the passenger bracket already and then you get a v6 non power driver bracket from them for the driver side. you lose the heavy power rack on the driver side.

the aftermarket seats should be able to be attached to these shouldnt they. dont anyone remember a thread along these lines...it was a long time ago.
