Installing Eibach Springs...what else do I need?

I ordered Eibach Pro Kit springs and will probably have someone else install them for me as soon as I get them. I am eventually planning on redoing the whole suspension, struts, etc. but right now just the srpings. Is this ok, or do I need to redo everything when I put the springs on, or can I do each part gradually. A mechanic I know said I should redo the struts when I do the springs. If I don't he said the struts might end up leaking. Does anyone know if I can just do springs or do I need to do everything together. I'm still pretty new to working on cars and owning a Mustang. Thanks so much for the help. (I also orderd Flowmaster Cat-back exhaust, can't wait to get it all on)

if you're going to do it, do it right. the parts list goes:

new spring isolators
steeda bumpsteer kit
steeda x-2 balljoints
caster/camber plates
offset rack bushings
new shocks and struts

at the very least, you'll need the c/c plates and balljoints for proper front end alignment. if not, you'll go through front tires left and right.

I would do the shocks and struts while the car is apart for springs then your not paying double labor. I did my kit myself it can be done in a night with the right tools. also your old struts & shocks may not dampen the new springs well enough and create a weird ride. I'm not sure if your springs come with them but you may want to get new spring isolators. hope this helps.

He's right. Do several things at once. It's much easier. Also, you're going to need to get it re-aligned once those new springs are on there. I did shocks and sway bars last week, and I'm glad I did them both at the same time, although I wished now I wasn't such a cheap bastard and had sprung for the Pro Kit and lower it at the same time. Oh well, just means more fun for later.

Just do it yourself, its not hard and you'll save $. I did it in half a day my first try with a little help from a friend
