I love the smell of exhaust fumes in the morning.

With my O/R X-pipe and Magnapacks, in the morning when the car is not up to temperature yet, it almost sounds like it has some after market cams in it..I will just stare and listen for a few minutes, but then I start getting high from the fumes..

lol, ok, I sort of figured that was the case. So how do you guys all get it past inspection? Or do you swap it out every year?

P.S. I am still giddy from installing these. Everybody stared at the car before, but now they have a warning that I am coming from afar, and they are ready by the time I get up on them.

Would you say that it is loud to the point that it would be annoying, or attract unwanted police attention?

The way inspection is done obviosuly varies from state to state. Where I live in IL they only test OBD2 cars, and all they do is plug their scanner into it and see if any monitors are failed or not run. You are allows to have one monitor not ready. If you have a tune that turns off the rear 02s, the catalst monitor will not be run, but since every other monitor is fine, and the MIL is not illuminated, you will pass. My brother's LS1 has longtubes, offroad Y pipe/catback, LS6 intake, EGR delete, throttle body, bigger MAF, and a tune, and he pled right in, passed, and was on his way.

No, that is the great part, a cop just so happed to get behind me this morning and while it is louder than stock, as long as you don't mash the pedal, it doesn't get obnoxious. At idle it is probably 30-40% louder than stock (which stock idle is non existent from another car). WOT on the other hand is a different story.
