My friend killed the t-5 in my car about 2 years ago.. After yelling at him, he pulled out the t-5, had it rebuilt, and now I am about to reinstall. He lost 90% of the bolts that he took out. Do you know what size I may need? Should I get them from the dealer?
Take the bellhousing down to Napa or Home Depot/Lowes and start trying some bolts until you get it. A Ford dealer will be able to pull up the bolts on their computer and tell you what size/thread pitch you'll need. And bolts tend to be pretty reasonable at the dealer, although they'll probably have to order them in for ya. I do know for certain that they can get you every single bolt required and I think it cost me about 20 bucks for all of them on one occasion.
