its a 2002 3.8L v6. everything was working fine untill i replaced a fuse for the subs. After I did this it now takes about 10-15 seconds for the instrument panel to begin to read everything (mph. RPM, oil pressure,) I though it might be the fuse so i just un hooked all of that and its still doing it. any ideas?

Fuse for the subs? Stock subs and amp or aftermarket? Not sure if the higher end Mach stereos came with an amp and subs. If it was an aftermarket amp, where did you have the +Positive wire connected to? And how much power is this amp rated for? Confused just as you are about the gauges reading like that.Just trying to figure out how this all went down. Did you mess with any wiring around the dash fuse panel? And last question...do your lights seem dim as if there is insufficient power going to them?

after a couple of hours i found out what it was. i ended up blowing a 15 amp fuse under my steering wheel in that fuse box. i guess a wire for the sub is connected there and it was just worn out. everything is back to normal now :)
