intake doesn't line up on my 351w??

no, it's definately a single plane. It has that plate in the middle, so the right two barrels of the carb feed the right bank of the engine and vice versa. All the intake runners are on the same level and each runner uses the straitest route from the carb to the intake port on the head. A dual plane feed half the cylinders with very short runners and the other half with long runners, which is why a dual plane produces power at a lower RPM range. It just doesn't look like a single plane because there is no air gap between the intake runners and the valley cover. It is similar to an edelbrock torquer II (which is a single plane). If I'm wrong about this, somebody please correct me. LOL...."how do the ports line up?"........uh, they don't.......thats the point of this thread. "stupid"? maybe do a little homework before saying that I look stupid. Yes...dual plane intakes have a center divider. Yes....so does mine. But,.....on a dual plane intake, one side feeds two cylinders on the right bank and two on the left. Also.....on a dual plane, one of the divided sections in the carb opening is up higher than the other one allowing the runners to "overlap" each other. On MY intake, even though there is a divider, all the runners that stem from the right side of the carb opening feed the right four cylinders and visa versa. All of the runners on MY intake are on the same level.....same "plane". They do not make these intakes anymore and the only thing close is made by weiand and is for the FE engines. Hey look, that one looks like the same exact design as mine, besides it is obviously wider for the FE engine. I hate it when people get all "I'm smarter than you" when they dont know what they are talking about. I will give it to you that it does look like a dual plane at first sight. So, if I didn't REALLY understand the differences in how a dual or single plane intake actually work, I might have thought the same thing. If I welded a divider plate down the middle of a Vic Jr. or Parker funnel web, it would not make it a dual plane.....it would make it a split plenum single plane. Besides, I never asked for help in deciding what type of intake it was........it was an alignment issue. I'm not even gonna use this intake now, I found out it must be for a 351 with a 9.2 deck height.
