will any intake elbow fit an explorer intake?i'm going to replace my radiator this weekend and figured i might as well install the intake i've had sitting around since i have to drain the coolant.there's a guy here locally who has an elbow for sale.i dont know the brand or price,he emailed me while i was at work.

also, what would be a fair price for a used elbow, considering the price's new?
Brothers-professional products=$60,edelbrock=$120
CJ's-trickflow=$97(bare).

Any one should work fine.

I run a Perf. Prod. one on my exploder intake. Just be prepared for one ROUGH casting with the PP elbow...man that thing must have been cast by a blind 8yr old who made the mold out of dirt/mud. I sanded the tar out of my elbow as I had it powdercoated to match my upper intake. That was the only reason I went with the PP elbow...I had every intention of sanding/grinding it and getting it coated.

Just FYI in case you were looking at the Trick Flow elbow, it is 75mm.

I think the PP, Edelbrock etc. are all 70mm????

I got the Trick flow elbow and the casting is very nice, no spurs or rough edges.

You will only need the adapter if your running an intake spacer or an intake that the upper sits higher than stock. With the explorer intake you will not need the adapter if your not running a spacer.
