Last March, I had a local performance shop to install a Cobra intake on my ride. I noticed that after the install, my heater didn't put out much hot air. It was spring and warmer weather was on its way. I just assumed they put in a 160 degree thermostat and that was the reason for my cool air. All summer it wasn't an issue. Now it is getting cooler in the mornings and I thought a little heat might be nice. I just changed out the thermostat to a 195 degree last night and still no heat this morning. Any ideas on what could be causing this? :bang:

Dirt or sediment in the feed pipes for the heater? I would disconnect the heater hoses and try a garden hose flush through the tubing and heater. Check the vacuum lines and flapper doors for the heat & A/C while you are at it.

Thanks, jrichker,

That was going to be my next plan of attack. I guess you just take the one big fitting off the top of the manifold and take the other hose loose from the pump and flush through the metal piping and all? I'll try that and we'll see what happens. I'll let ya'll know what I find. Meanwhile, if anybody else has any suggestions, I'm all ears!
