Has anyone installed an Edelbrock RPM, RPM Air Gap, or Vic Jr. on a '69 351w for a '69 or '70 Mustang? I would like to use one or these intake manifolds and be able to also install my shaker ram air on my car and not have any problems with the shaker scoop sticking out of the hood too high. I know it also depends if I use a carb spacer and how thick it is. The manifold heights are listed below. Thanks.

Vic Jr. Front - Front = 5.75" Rear = 5.75"
RPM Air Gap - Front = 5.31" Rear = 6.19"
RPM - Front = 4.30" Rear = 5.30
Performer - Front = 3.40 Rear 4.75 (for stock comparison)

My buddy just put a different intake on his car. Although it's a torino maybe you could do something similar?? His is a 70 torino coupe with an original 429cj shaker. He just put a blue thunder intake on with a holley. He just took another old windsor base (and it turned out to be the same base as his original) and welded in new studs for the shaker and cut the bottom lip around 5/8 inch. I then gave him some trim that goes on sheet metal. It's like a plastic U shaped piece that we stuck on the bottom. Worked real nice!
