I'm sure I've missed some place to find this out, but thought it be nice to get a concise answer. I'm installation ye ole Edelbrock Performer 289 intake manifold on a 260 engine. On top it has two water taps in the front, and two air taps in the back half. I figure the heater hose goes to adapter for water tap near thermostat. I guess the other is for my water temperature?

Then for the back, my c4 transmission had a vacuum line. I guess I hook that to one of the air ports. Anything need to go in the other air tap?

Also, bolt threads. What goo goes on which bolt? Thread sealer on carb to aluminum manifold? Same on manifold bolts, except 4 corners need nothing?

What goes on the threads on the taps for temperature sensor, trans vacuum, heater hose adapter?

Thanks for the help. I searched around and got a little info, but not comfortable with installing yet.
