intake manifold

well I have a 98gt and the intake manifold gave out and the 7yr warranty ened not too long ago ford wants 500 for a new one will I be getting the same cracking-prone intake from them?

im thinking aftermarket is my best bet at 200 bucks

You could always do the PI intake swap. Do a search on here, there's lots of info on how to do it.

X2. Less expensive than new NPI replacement and both have the aluminum crossover. Just make sure you get that version of PI intake so that it can't happen to you again. Bonus of extra ponies with the PI intake.
