Intake manifolds/please help

i am upgrading from the stock 5.o intake on my 87 gt, i was wondering if a cobra intake will be sufficent enough for what i have.
i have a comp cam with a .560 lift and about a 270 duration
i have top proline heads with 2.05/1.6 valves!!!
i definetly need something to move a lot more air.

The stock cobra probably won't be enough for you. You should look into the TFS track heat, Edelbrock RPM or Holley intake. You will probalby have to port the cobra right off the bat and open up the TB opening to 75mm to get it to flow what you need.

will a gt 40 intake work any better or is that the same as a cobra intake??

The GT40 and Cobra are essentially the same......better check on the Pro Topline runner size/location compared to any intake you might buy.
