intake question

what are the tubes that come out of the top of the intake box? i remember seeing it somewhere before but now i cant find it... can some1 help me out

The Larger Plug should be the ACT Sensor, The other two if i remember correctly control the flap on the front of the air box... can anbody confirm this??

That sounds about right. The larger one for the ACT should have like a 3/8 pipe fitting for it to screw into. As for the other two:

1)Is a small diameter plastic line with a rubber elbow from the around the fender ( heads up to the fire wall I believe also) that plugs up on top of the air box.

2) The small vaccum line that comes from the front of the air box towards the radiator near the botton of the air box ( air flapper) and wraps back up on top and plugs to the first small vaccum line.

I hope this helps and that also its a newer 2.3L like a 90-93 model

do you need the small vaccum line? cause i see people with intakes with that nowhere to be found.. im asking this cause it broke off and makes a weird sound

I haven't used mine in 1 1/2 years, just plugged it with a small screw
