I am struggling to get my 93 cobra brake booster past my upper intake manifold and big wire on the other side. I've moved the wire up as far as it will go and its still hitting the wire and upper intake manifold. Im thinking about taking the upper intake manifold off. Do I only remove the 4 bolts that go to the lower and slide it over a bit? Or do I have to disconnect it from the throttle body as well and totally remove it?

I think I have a problem here.

You can remove the entire assy. from the intake to the throttle body in one swoop.

Don't forget the 2 bolts hidden under the 5.0 HO plaque on top of the intake manifold. You need a torx screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the plate in place.

That's how I got mine in. Unbolt upper and move it over.

I jacked the drivers side of the engine up a little and was able to slide the booster through.

I ended up unbolting the six upper intake bolts lifting up and inch or so and that huge thing slid right in with a little bit of wiggling. lol. I feel like a got the hang of it pulling in and out a couple times while elongating those holes. Thanks for the help!
