I've got a series IV on my GT and I never had the gauge. Recent intercooler issues have prompted me to look into getting one.

Is the one from Saleen the only option or do you know of any aftermarket alternatives?

What color does it light up?

What's the temp range?

Does it measure the temp of the water inside the internal heat exchanger or does it measure the air itself?

How does it hook up? Do I need any extra parts?

I don’t have many specific answers to your questions but I do urege you to get an air charge temperature gauge (supplied on ‘03+ S281s) as opposed to coolant temp gauge (’99-’02 S281s). The ACT gauge provides quicker, more pertinent information about the air that’s getting forced into your motor, than the intercooler reservoir temp gauge.

The Saleen Dash Pod, Air Temp and Boost Gauge are still available from Saleen for about $299! One just sold on E-Bay for far less than that! I would agree with Dennis, You need to get Some Gauges Stat before you fry something! The Backlit lighting on those Saleen gauges on my friends 04 Saleen are an Aqua Blue in Color! I'll have to find out on the temp range!

The Air Temp Gauge Reads from 100 to 220 Saleen's pod with these gauges comes with instructions on mounting and installing the hardware to make these gauges work!
