Well i have a sd and i changed mine . I have the Edlebrock upper/lower mani and i have no problems. It used to surge but then i cleaned my IAC and it was fine... i would say your good to go from exp.
Typhoon and the Eddy RPM would be a little too large for a near stock set up. I would much rather go with a Tmoss ported unit for excellent gains on your $$.
