Yes I did a search and got alot of info, but it seems one thread would contradict another soooooo. When it comes to intakes the GT-40 and Explorer are the same. Both are better then the Cobra. Am I right? How much hp will all of these support out of box.

Yes ,they are the same.There are some slight differences between some year models ,but nothing drasstic. The lower on the cobra is also the same. the cobra upper is different in that is cast as apposed to the tubular design of the gt40. Ford says they will support 350hp. If you have the lower ported (correctly) it will make allot more, and run right with if not better than most of the aftermarket intakes,depending on your application.:SNSign:
for all practical purposes, there is no difference in any of the 3. Most variance would come from casting quality (core shift) more than anything else. AFM did some dyno testing of all 3 to prove this.
