i would imagine any intake kit should be a breeze to match with your plenum and tb. I can't begin to imagine why an intake setup would present a conflict with the parts your mentioned

Huh? Are you trying to match an intake to an elbow? If what I am hearing is that you have a stock intaked 99 GT, and you're asking if the Accufab elbow (aka plenum) will fit, the answer is "yes". Am I missing something here?

It looks like the PURPLEMUSTANG intake is finally available and being shipped in small quantities. It has been in development quite ahile and various delays started making it look like typical internet-based vaporware. However, now all we need to do is sit back and wait for one of the first few people to dyno and find out whether its worth the $750 or not.

I took a look at that thing when I was looking for intakes and I am waaaaaayyyyyy leary (sp?) about buying that thing. I mean yeah someone has to make it before it becomes a trend or something but you gotta wonder why it has taken so long for the modular motor to get aftermarket intakes. It has to be hard as hell. I mean aside from the bullitt (which is just a 99+ head port matched version of the SVO intake) we had no other choices. Now our picks a from reichard which is basicly a race only intake, fox lake, and a few fly by nightslike purple dude. the guys at fox lake and reichard had a lot of trouble gettingthe runners just right and you mean to tell me that all I really had to do way put eight tubes connected to a shoe box on top of my motor and I would have had a new intake for my car? I don't mean to take away from purple dudes engineering skills cause lord knows I couldn't do it but why doesn't he have some sort of flow numbers compaired to other intakes or dyno numbers from one car with and another car with out his intake. Why should the consumer have to buy his product and then test it as well?nickthegenius said:

I've been hearing about this manifold, which, honestly, just appears to be an aluminum copy of the plastic OEM one, for several months...
