i have a 00 gt w/ a vortech pushing 402rwhp is an intercooler worth the price? am i going to notice a significant difference and should i go to a smaller pulley? also how efffective are those water injection kits? thanx.

i think that if you change your pulley you should also get an intercooler to lower the inlet temps. i would think with a pulley and intercooler you might see 60 rwhp gain.
yeah i was told i'll loose boost through the intercooler so if i wanted to keep the same boost i would have to go to a smaller pulley.

A power pipe would also make up for the boost loss due to the intercooler. The IC would just help keep your track times more consistant by managing the air temps better than just the blower. I was just at the dyno today for a guy that added an intercooler, power pipe and pullied down. 40 safer hp.
. i already have a powerpipe though.
