intercooler ??

extremely overpriced. Slightly over rated in HP

http://stores.ebay.com/Treadstone-Performance

they sell a 28" x 10.5" x 3.5" intercooler for $250. (isn't listed right now, but email him and he will put it up i'm sure. He also has a website listed on his ebay store. Prices there are about 10% higher though.) Still a far cry from a grand.

I have installed several different size intercoolers from this supplier and have had no issues at all. Quality is top notch! I run it on my own car.

Well with 11.25 psi with stock heads cams intake and exhaust manifolds I put down 431/419 @ 16* of timing.. But after the dynoed I found a small leak and replaced a couple restrictive silicone elbows and I now average between 13.5-14 psi now. I even added LTs after the tune and I still average 13.5-14psi. I'm running a 2.8" rr 6 rib pulley I got off ebay for 35 dollars. I do see belt dust. I was 371 before the ic and smaller pulley. I was running a 3.3 10 psi but had no belt slip.

My power level is in my sig. I get 0.5 psi drop.

That valve will suck. You will get compressor surge like mad. car will NOT BE DRIVABLE!!!

You need AT LEAST a 35mm BOV/bypass valve. They are the same thing. You will be looking at about $250 for the right valve. Either the vortech race valve, or the raptor BOV are the best. Don't skimp here. Again, using a bosch style valve WILL NOT work when you upgrade the intercooler and piping. They simply do not flow enough air.

Here's one for $160

SaleenGT2001 you actually lost horsepower installing the intercooler? What cooler did you use and what size piping did you use? I can't believe your loosing power. That's something I don't want to do!!
