Just fartin around a little bit and ran across this, frontal crash test ratings for a 95 Mustang.. http://www.safercar.gov/Index2.cfm

the safety rating was one of the reasons I got it alongside the performance for the price. If you look at 1997 though, interestingly, the coupe gets a 4-star while the vert gets a 5-star.

i can tell you from experience that these cars can handle a front end impact quite nice. 40mph to 0 instantly and i wasn't even soar the next day.

Look at the Femur loads, thats scary. But the site says it's only excessive if it's over 2250 lbs.
