so heres the thing. i use to have a 160 thermostat in an my car ran way to cold. i switched it to a 180 and it made a bug difference in everyway. i recently had a bad radiator that would leak all over the place and alot. it seemed like when it ran a lil hot (maybe 190-200) that it ran even better an had more power, maybe because of more effecient burn in the cylinders? so now i wonder, do i put the stock temp thermostat in which is a 195...or should i mess with different heat range plugs? with the 195 in i shouldnt have a problem running hot since i have a new radiator right? i also have a electric fan ill be putting is sometime soon. keep in mind my car is carb'd but is a 1990 motor and id like to be able to spray without changing plugs. what you guys think?!!?

My car runs fine on autolite 23s and stock is 25s. Colder plugs shouldn't be a probleM
. I always ran on 23s before.

I think a 180 is the Coldest Thermostat you should use on the street, the Stock 192 would be fine too.
