Interior color question

I have an '87 GT with interior color code PG which is "Smoke" according to the Fox-Body Recognition Guide. I'm looking to get floor mats to match the carpet and I found some NOS OEM floor mats in "Titanium" which I think is an interior color from the ealry 90's. My question is are Titanium and Smoke the same colors or close enough? Anyone know for sure? I could go with a contrasting color like black, but the Titanium ones are a decent price.

Thanks,
WES

why not go porno red? the ladies love it!!!

I'm so done with the red....I drove a '92 Wild Strawberry Notch with the full Scarlet interior for over 8 years. NO MORE RED!!!!

Thanks for the advice fastford91, but I'm trying to match what's in the car now. I'd be buying the Titanium mats online so I woudn't be able to get an exact idea of the color from a pic due to the differences in the camera and the monitor, etc. Just wondering if anyone knows if smoke and titanium are the same color. Maybe Ford changed the name from smoke to titanium? Anyone know?

Believe the Titanium is a lighter color. Not by much. Honestly, you muddy feet will be on them, will you ever be able to tell once they are in the car.

I see your point as welll, I would want to find the exact color. And I'm color blind...................

i would go with black for driving and then get another set to throw in there that match for car shows/ curise in's...black if it gets muddy wait till it drys and get it off...on a lighter color..you would still see it.

Yes, I can't tell dark colors apart. In case ur wondering, I can see greys just fine. I like the black or even rubber mats for everyday driving then the good set of grey but its not to practicle for me.

I believe 5.0 resto and mustangs unlimitied both sell year specific matts for color reasons, may want to check there if your set on the exact or close to color. I can tell u if u still have the stock carpet, they wont match.
