I just took apart my interior to check my floors and cover them with rust encapsulator. I want to cover all the unseen parts with it so I dont have to worry about rust in the future.
I have used rust encapsulator for my trunk and liked the results. I had sandblasted the whole thing to bare metal though. I was wondering if I had to get all the paint off from the floors or just to scuff everything and get rid of the loose rust? I took some pictures of the project but I am still far from applying the rust encapsulator. I still have to remove all the old seam sealer and sticky crap but here it is:
