Same here with insuffecent egr flow. I pulled the codes and got that specific code. I forget the number. I put a vac pump on my egr and it moved fine so I pulled it off and cleaned it and he intakewhere it bolts on. The check engine light has not come back on.

obd 2 scanner is the wrong scanner if yours is like mine the plug in under dash will allow a obd 2 to hookup but i believe its a dummy plugin a ford thing i don't know. but your system is a obd 1 unless you have installed a 4.6 or 3.8. even if light is not illuminated you can retrieve codes at plugin on passenger side fender under hood about 5 inches forward of firewall it will be incased in a plastic case fastened to passenger side fender. drive car to autozone have them retrieve codes from this plugin or do it yourself with a test light click on link below. then post codes and get some replys from these guys you can throw 2-3or 4 codes sometimes (i was throwing 5 i reset t.p.s. and replaced cos2 sensor and cleared all 5) and only one sensor will need cleaning or replaced, believe me these guys will save you money good luck and welcome to stangnet.

Welcome to the boards! As mentioned, the 94-95 GT's are OBD-I and the 6 cylinder models were OBD-II (hence why there are both plugs).

Good luck.
