At first my car didn't have this problem. After I switched it to Mobil1 5w-20 it started this. At 5000 miles I changed to 5w-30 Syn. and it didn't do it has much. I switched it back to 5w-20 Mobil1. It sometimes does it, I don't think that it is the valve tsb. But it doesn't sound like a rod knock.

It only does it sometimes, after the motor gets warm it does it less. If it was a main bearing or a rod knock then it would be there all the time and get louder as rpm increases. I'm not sure if it is the lash adjuster TSB or the VCT. Any advice woruld be great.

any ideas, I can't take it to the dealer right now. Time thing. :bang:

yeah i reset the computer back to stock and it did it then too, I checked everything today with a stethescope and found nothing. The noise is gone for now. I'll check it tomorrow and repost. The noise is intermittent then I'm no to concerned about it. I'm still going to take it to the dealer next week.

i would not be that concerneed about it. a lower bearing noise is constant and is very loud. many engines give slight taping and knocking sounds

yeah that is what I'm thinking, I am going to take it next week. Thanks

But at the same time I listen to another 2005 Mustang GT and it didn't do it. Only got to listen to it for a minute though.
