Interval wipers on an 83 mustang

I can't really seem to find the right section to post this in and V6 sounds close enough so here it is. I have interval wipers on my 83 3.8L mustang and suddenly they stopped working one day. I tested the wiper motor and the switch and I can get the wipers to work just fine. How do I bypass the interval box so I can have my wipers working again?

The relay box or the multifunction switch could be the culprit...usually the mf wiper stalk. I wouldn't bypass it, i would hit the yard or classifieds for fox body stang wiper control modual if that is what is bad.
