Introduction

Hi all, just a new stanger coming in for '05 thought I'd say hello. I've always loved the looks of mustangs, but was convinced that if I couldn't find one that was pre-70's I'd never own one... well a while back I stumbled upon the 05 stang and I'm quite impressed... I'd say I'm in line for mine, but won't be able to afford it until april of '05 so no early order here. I've been watching the posts though, and definitly have become obsessed with getting this car, much as everyone else has I'm sure.

Yes, watch out because the obsession only gets worse :nice:
The guys on this board are really awesome and helpful, read the sticky for newbies first though before you ask anything, or you'll be shot :p j/k
Now you can join the rest of us that are waiting patiently (and some not-so-patiently) for the '05 to arrive :D

I'm in the same shoes as you. Welcome but I've been here less time than you. I hate waiting, but this should be my last car purchase for a long time. I want to do the basic bolt on route and then eventually go forced induction.

Yep, looks like our times have returned. Been waiting 30 years myself. After owning the likes of '67 GTA/390 fastback, '66 Shelby Hurst GT350 and '69 Boss 302. I was not about to settle for re-badged "new age" Mustangs until now. But I am going to hold out until the initial craze calms down. Then probably wait for 2007. Hoping by then either the Mach I or GT350 will be available. So I'll be reading and listening a lot to the guys who are first in line at the dealership

I'm a little different than most on this board. I'm a fairly fresh college grad pondering his first new automobile purchase. If I do go for the stang, it wont be until early next year....Feb or March at the earliest. Need to save up for the car and the insane hike that my insurance will see should I get the 05 Stang.
