IPOD in the stang

It can be done ,you need an FM modulator, and 1/8" mini stereo plug to RCA cable. The FM mod plugs into your antenna and the mini to RCA goes from the ipod to the FM mod.

You then have to tune your radio to a preset station like 88.9fm. You can get all the parts from radio shack. Make sure you get the FM mod that you hard wire into you system. The other type transmits the signal wireless, it sound like A** and dose not work very well.

My friend has an IPOD and to use it in his car, he has one of those cassette things. It goes into the tape player and is connected to a wire that goes directly to the IPOD. the sound is actually good too. Now, if he could just get that battery to last on the IPOD
yep I used that with a cd player when I only had a tape player in my car...works great

i use ipod in my stang with that iTrip device that plugs on top but its a piece of crap. i have a fm modulator here that should take no more than an hour to install with a minijack plug flush somewhere on the dash.

the wireless ones suck.. shorter antenea helped some but not enough.. it's going to be worth it big time to just plug it in and flip a switch.. and no wires or adapters, etc.

the hard wired fm modulators start around 30$ on the various car audio sites.. if you plan on any video additions at a later date there are ones that incorporate everything including tv signals, etc.. depends on if thats your bag or not.
