New plugs should ALWAYS be regapped. You never know what's happened to them during manufacturing, packaging, and shipping.

I always gap my plugs before putting them in, these wore to that point

platinum and iridium have a much higherelectrical resistance and take more voltage to fire, older ignition systems like those in our foxes, simply dont produce enough to fire them well (unless you have msd or something) if you do use them, they will generally cause missing, and have a limited life span

How is it for gapping Iridium? Is it like plats where one has to be careful about the method chosen? Just curious in case I have to work on some POS that calls for them.
