Its the same car as the live axle version so yeah it can be done. However, the SN95 has a wider wheelbase I think. You're probably gonna need the wider axle for starters. I remember something about it being only 3/4" wider on each side though (1 1/2" total), so with wider wheels you may make it look alright. Now I'm not real sure on this like I said. And beyond the fact that it will fit I don't know what has to be changed...
I would think the easiest thing to do is to find someone with a newer GT and put the cars side by side and swap -- you can probably do an even trade (or even make some money!) and you know you'll have every part you need.
