I have completed my '03 IRS swap, but I have a couple of issues.
1. I have a high speed vibration when I take off from a stop. It seems to go away but I can feel it with each shift.
2. I have a good deal of "clunking" when going from the drive side of gears to coast side and vice-versa.
3. I know the '03s were prone to wheel hop but jesus....The dash seems like it is going to come out at the slightest sign of tire spin. I looked at buying a '03 and it didn't have wheel hop like that....
I am concerned that I will make it worse if I drive it. I just changed the ujoints to see if that would cure the vibration, but it did nothing. Also, did anyone else that has done this swap remove the factory pinion snubber? I did and i want to make sure it was the right thing to do. Any Ideas?
