is 03 gt ride height higher than 99 thru 02 gt's

Am I crazy, but my 2003 GT seems like it has a higher ride height than other GT's I've seen around town? I can fit my whole fist between my front tire and fender. Is this normal?

My 02 GT is like that too. Somewhere along the way a whole bunch of F150 coils fell into the Mustang spring bin and no one noticed. I think it happened before 02 though

I have an 02 and an 03 and I couldn't tell a difference between the two ride heights before I started ripping them apart.
