A friend of mine is selling me his polished s-trim kit with a V-1 unit, it comes with everything even the MSD boost thingy, or should i just wait to buy a new one? how old are V-1's? the miles on it are unknown because it came with the car with no cluster.

if the blower is in good shape $1300 is a great deal. the fact that you are saying it comes with a btm makes the deal even sweeter. if you dont want it let me know because ill take it. ;)
:stupid:

how well do you know this guy?

why is he selling it so cheap?

are you sure the blower doesn't need to be rebuilt?

could be, but i have no idea what it costs to have a vortech rebuilt
iF it's just bearings, it's 600-$700. If the gears are bad, it's a few hundred more. If you can spin the pulley freely with no resistance, the gears are more than likely fine. IF you spin, there is no resistance and it makes a ton of metallic noise, it is prolly the bearings.

ROGER: What do you need ANOTHER blower for? :D
