Is 200$ a good price for a new 302 block from Ford?

Just like the title says, I have an opportunity to get myself a 302 block for 200 dollars. It has a LITTLE surface rust, because it's been sitting. I plan on building a 331 stroker over the next few years, piece by piece. Is this a good price ? The cam bearings are installed as are the freeze plugs. The block has never had anything installed in it. The guy says he bought it a few years ago, and that it is a Ford block, but sicne then Ford has stopped making the block. It is a roller block too... Here's some pics.

i paid 150 for a complete 88 HO motor. had 112k on it, intake to oil pan, wiring harness, comp, everything. But for a new block, it seems like a great deal.

This is a nice block. Jump on it. Stock 302 roller blocks r good to 500whp and after that u run the risk of splitting the block, Stud and valley girdles do nothing to prevent it from splitting. If u plan to go over 500rwhp then step up to a R block, Dart or new Boss 302 block coming out this year. Go Scat 4340 forged profiled crank and Scat 4340 H-beam rods w/ ARP 2000 rod bolt upgrade, Ross, CP, or Probe forged dual relief 10.5:1 pistons, rotating assembly good to 1000hp. Throw on a Comp Cam XE282HR, AFR 205, TFS TW Stage 3 heads from Summit, port matched Holley EFI or Victor intake. 400/400 @ the RW NA on pump gas.

Should be a good deal. I just paid $100 for a 68 engine that may or may not be usable. But it's an original 4v Mustang engine, for whatever its worth.

Go for it! Make sure its got main caps on it, or else you would prob have to get new ones and have it line bored/honed. but still a good deal if its never been used
