Yes. Make sure you get a good tune, and you may want to add a power pipe. I have the steeda one. I made 367rwhp on a Mustang Dyno (~400 on a dynojet) with the following Combo:

Vortech S Trim 3.60 pulley (11lbs at 6K rpm when its ~30°F outside)
BBK LT/s and OR X
Borla 2.25 mufflers
Steeda boost pipe
Walbro GSS342 fuel pump
Pro M 80mm MAF
42lb Injectors
MGK TR6 plugs
FRPP 9mm wires
3.73 gear

I love my combo.

AHHHHH YEAHHHHH With Tim aka cobra killer tune should get you there and be safe at it too you can find him at www.modularfordpowerhouse.com
350 or better should be very possible if you pulley for 10 lbs and with LT's and X and maybe a power pipe you could get closer to 400. TAlk to Tim he'll steer you in the right direction. LAter hope this helps

It is realistic but I'd lose that MAC tb in favor of an Accufab.

Very realistic... you'll prolly do better... I'm over that with _NO_ exhaust work other than welded in Flows.

I believe a bone stock GT's can make 350+RWHP with the Cobra Killer kit, and that's with a Vortech SQ. That setup should make WAY more than 350RWHP.

So you guys are saying that the NOVI 1000RR will make that much power with a good tune ?? I am in VA so I will probably be taking it to DTP in Cheasepeake for a tune . But if Tim is as good as you say he is I might change my mind about that .

That should be easily doable. However what are your long term goals?? If you are planning on staying at those power levels then the Novi 1000 should be a great blower. But it seems like the smaller Novi 1000 starts to run out of steam if you try to get much larger numbers out of it.

I just wanna stomp for *****ing LS1s and keep my stock engine from blowing up , I was thinking procharger but im afraid the power levels will be too much for something i drive everyday and plan to get 100K miles on my stock engine

Well pretty much any Blower you buy (even the Novi 1000) can make enough power to blow your stock engine. It all depends on the pulley you use (amount of boost), How you drive your car, and probably the most important THE TUNE.
I would just hate for someone to buy a blower. Then a few years down the road decide to buy a new shortblock and up the boost, only to find out that they need to get a larger blower to make a lot more power.
I am not an expert in any means. But in the researching that I did before I bought my blower... It just seemed like there were a bunch of guys on the Corral that had Novi 1000s that ended up upgrading to larger blowers because they ran out of steam. But if you are happy with 350-400rwhp and not planning on any more, Then I think the Novi 1000 might be a good choice. With it being a smaller blower I think the boost might come on a little quicker. Giving you a really nice midrange. Besides, I believe that there is a guy (I think his name is Ed Clark) That was running the 1000 on his stock long block and was pulling off high 11s in a 99+ vert.

With a good tune, those numbers are very realistic. Personally, I'd say 375 is very realistic. I'm pulling 350+ and don't have headers, high-flow H or X, catback, TB or plenum. I'm going to see Tim in March/April for what seems to be the 'best tune' out there and a catback. Hoping for 375-380. Good luck. Regards,

I believe Cobra Killer (T&J Performance) tuned a near stock 2000 GT to 380rwhp with a vortec. Remember that 99-00 GTs have the windsor block and 9:1 compression. The 01+ GTs are running 9.4:1 compression. The tune can be more aggressive on the 99-00 GTs cause of this compression difference.

By the time you have that novi 1000 tuned and by all those parts you'll have as much in it as a steeda/vortech kit. With a stock motor and the steeda/vortech kit with a steeda power pipe, I put down 393 RWHP. And the vortech blower will be able to deliver more power down the road, the vortech v-2 has a higher cfm flow than the novi 1000. If you are dead set on a novi, I would go to the 2000. I don't think you will see quit as much power with a novi 1000 as the vortech because of the lower flow rate, but it won't be a slouch, maybe 10-20 rwhp behind. That steeda tune is unbeatable though, you know it's safe and it's proven to put down the power. I about died when mine put down 393 rwhp.

It's your choice of course, and the novi 1000 will be a good blower. Just think about that extra power though, and that upgradability down the road. I
say go novi 2000 or vortech. Good luck any route you go. You'll love boost!!!

Here's my dyno, it's the vortech kit though.

How much you got invested in yours , I can get a paxton complete with injectors , pump , and run the stock mass air for $3000.00 plus 50 for shipping , install it myself and from what ive heard a dyno tunes gonna run me about 500 buck , so total cost 3550.00 , Everybody ive seen on here has atleast 4000 in their set ups . the extra cash im saving I was going to put in the clutch and suspension upgrades , but if you can tell me where i can get a deal on a new vortech for 3G , im all for it

I've got about $4750 in mine with gauges and power pipe and all the little stuff that goes with it. BUT, that was before cobrakiller was selling them. I know you can buy them from him for alot cheaper than through steeda. With your stock mass air meter, you are going to be limited on power and you may well max it out making that much horsepower. It only reads so much air flow, then your car does all kind of weird stuff high in the rpms when it peg's out. I wouldn't suggest the stock meter with any supercharger, but it's your car. When you have that much money invested in a car and supercharger kit, the last thing you want to do is blow it up. It's better to do it right the first time, then to piece it together as you go and risk and unsafe tune or use parts that aren't designed to deliver that much power. Just PM cobrakiller and see what kind of price he can give you, you won't be disappointed in the results, I think you will be much happier with it, even if it costs a little more.

That sounds like a good idea. However, in the long run you will probably end up spending more than if you just started with the vortech and the steeda tune. Sure you might be able to get by with everything for a while but what happens when the Walbro pump that comes in your Kit takes a dump? They have not proven to be very reliable with the returnless system. Also what happens when you decide to add a boost pipe or long tubes? You will have to get the car retuned. But if you start out with the Steeda tune/Vortech you get the Steeda pumps($399 which are made to work with the returnless system) you get a new maf(so you won't have to worry about your stock maf not flowing enough air) and you get the Steeda tune which is adaptive. That way when you make small changes the computer will adapt to the new mods(no more retunes.) So for a few more dollars more than the paxton you could probably get a vortech s or t trim with the Steeda tune and all of the supporting pieces. Check out www.modularfordpowerhouse.com that is where I bought my kit. Right now he has a special on t trims for the same price as the s trim.
