Is a tuner really needed? Heres my plan...

I'm getting a Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter, 4 Nitto NT-555 Radials, Bassani Catalytic X Pipe & A Bassani Catback Exhaust. I'm basically getting the catback and x pipe for the sound. The shifter and the Nittos don't really involve power and torque gains. Is a tuner, like a predator really needed? I'm not planning to dyno the car. I'm just looking to race on the street and track.

No, a tune isn't necessary. You could have it dyno'ed to make sure though (have air/fuel monitored) and then determine if there is room for improvement after examining your air/fuel. Enjoy the new mods & have fun at the track.

since it's pig-rich at stock at higher rpm's, you'll probably be a little less rich in fuel, resulting in better hp.
