Is any one running low 13s with this combo??

With traction and good driving, you will hit 13's with no prob. My car is capable of 13's, just look at the trap speed in my sig. I am not getting the traction I need for a good launch. I have to baby it in first to avoid a major burnout. I have 3:27 gears, all stock except whats in the sig.

Yea my car should be in the 13s when spring comes, i have timeslips of it running 14.8 at 97mph so i'm right along with ya Jerry....the timeslips are from the previous owner, but since then i've put on an aluminum drive shaft and i'm planning on updating the ignition this winter. It had to spin really bad to make that kind of speed so i might get some slicks too and see what happens.

i went 13.24 at 104.20 with almost the same combo(stock cam)and an AOD -cobra intake, 65mm tb,73mm mass air, shorty headers,2 1/2in h-pipe and catback, electric fan, 2600rpm stall, and 3.73s. The main reason why it went so fast is cause it was great off the line even with street tires. My suspension consisted of eibach drag launch kit, steeda upper and lower control arms, subframes, and lakewood shocks and struts. My 60ft times were in the 1.8s and the car hooked everytime. Ice on the intake also helps

I have almost the same combo. Except I have a Vortec shootout intake manifold and ported E-5 cylinder heads with Chevy valves. I went 13.40-104 m.p.h. On completely stock suspension with B.F. Goodrich radial T/A's. My 60' was a 2.1. With Southsides and ET Streets I know it will go high 12's.
