After swapping wheels for a few days with rio95 who has chrome eagle R knockoffs I really really think that chrome looks sweet on my car and wish that my '98 cobras were chrome. However I realize that chroming wheels is usually rediculously expensive.

Therefore, does any know of anyone/anyplace that chromes wheels for a good price? Thanks alot guys.

my cousin is starting a custom motorcycle shop, and has a powdercoating machine. He can do chrome powercoating for around $100 a wheel, thats prepping, and everything. He said that it looks the same up until like 2 inches from the wheel. Plus the powdercoat adds a protective layer to the wheel to keep it from getting scratched.

The powdercoating is a good option, but it's still not the real thing. I, personally, like how powercoated "chrome" things look. Some do not.

Whatever you do, don't get something chromed for "cheap". Have you ever seen MAC or BBK chrome headers? That's a perfect example of "cheap chrome".
