Is having the mufflers dumped bad?

What about the H-pipe? Im gonna be installing Mac LTs soon. I still havent decided on the midpipe. I want the prochamber but I dont have enough for one right now

I have the mac o/r h-pipe. I wanted the pro chamber too but thought it was too expensive. Sounds great though.

I have my exhaust dumped right after the rear axle on my 98, I did this just to lose the look of the tail pipes in the back, there are no cut outs and it looks more flush now. But I was thinking of dumping it up to the mufflers with just a small pipe with a curve to aim the opening to the ground, my question is will I smell the exhaust when the windows are down?

only if you rev it hard and are standing still. not a nice smell.

Mac sells them or you can just cut your tail pipes off after the muffler and weld on some turndown tips. They can be bought at autozone.

I think dumped exhaust on a mustang sounds super.
