Is it ok to use 3M Urethane sealer to touch up windsheild leaks

I installed my windsheild and rear window over the summer but did not have the time to check it for leaks until this week. Anyway when I checked it for leaks both windows are letting some water get through. I originaly used butyl to seal the windows, but now I was only able to get 3M Urethane 08609 sealer from the paint shop. I wanted to know if it was ok to use this stuff to try and stop the leaks, or if I need to reorder some buytl from the catalogs.
