MY lack of a BS3 tuner still remains unless I change the EFI control system.

Holley has 20% off till the 31st!

Maybe I should dump the BS3 for the holley set up?

You won't be disappointed with the Holley system. I've always loved your car exactly like it is, but a coyote swap would be awesome. Easy to spend someone else's money though.

My vote would be for switching the engine management and turning it down for pump gas. Maybe look into meth injection to supplement.

I say...put a 4bt diesel turbo in the ranger...run stacks out the bed and slap " step side " bed sides on the rear and run some wide meaty tires on a 12 inch wide rim...; joking

I vote to put another engine management system on the set up you've got.

Ultimately, it's all up to what you really want. You could easily sell some things and build a decent combo that could be driven on pump gas....and be as reliable as they get.

The problem is....would you be happy with that ?

The coyote swap sounds good....but with all the ish involved I'd rather see a well built eccoboost v6 that's been upgraded a little. Coyotes are nice but so " cookie cutter ". Anyone with 10- 15k can put a coyote. In anything.
