Is it worth it to upgrade shifter in 99 Cobra-Which one to buy?

I have a pretty much stock 99 black cobra. only mods are a K&N, 2001 rear bumper cover, side panels and tinted headlights. Been thinking of a new shifter for a mod. Is it worth it to do?

the car either sits in the garage most of the time or i may take it to work every now and again. I dont race it or anything. It has 88,000 on it-bought it 3 years ago with 60,000 on it. Seems to run perfect, although im sure a new clutch is in its future since its never been replaced yet!

Would i love or hate a new shifter and which one should i go with if i do? Or should i just leave it alone?

Let the mod's begin:

If you are going to replace the shifter I think the majority of the guys would recommend the MGW Short Throw Shifter. It is one of the best in the business. Web site is: MGWltd.com
I have a 99 Cobra and installed the new orange shifter less than a year ago.I highly recommend it.
I guess my favorite mod has been the complete Magnaflow exhaust system with x-pipe. It made the Cobra sound so much better. I can't remember if you had changed the gears. That was another favorite. I have 3.73's and love them. Some of the guys say go to 4.10's. Anyway, the list goes on and on. Get the check book out and have fun with your Cobra

On my old one, I had the MAC exhaust, pro-5.0 shifter, and other goodies.

I went with 4.30's, but if you do a lot of freeway driving, 3.90's are as high as I would go just for noise sake....these cars will rev that much all day with no problems.

I would go with the Magnaflow though....great system.

STAY AWAY FROM SLP!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds like crap.
