My adj. FPR vacuum line is routed from the FRP to the back left corner of the engine bay into a four port type connector (looks like four fingers back to back). Two of the ports are plugged off and the other port has a vac line running to the front passenger side of the engine bay into two large 3" x 6" plastic boxes.

I would post a pic but I can't get the posting to work in the thread.

When I check the FPR pressure gauge, it stays the same, at 30 lbs., with the vac line plugged into the FPR or unplugged.

Can I just route the vac line off the FPR to a port directly into the upper intake? Or does the computer need to read the vacumm pressure?

I'm wandering it my vac line to the FPR is reading any vacuum.

Thanks.

A solid and dedicated manifold vacuum source is desired.

1.) That's how it should be.

2.) Not unless your car was converted from mass air to speed-density for some reason.
