sitting around these past few weeks thinking about my motor thats going in when it occured to me. the B-303 cam is pretty mellow right. well does anyone know if i could get away with keeping speed density using this combo:

-BBK SSI intake -w- 70mm TB
-AFR 165 heads with crane 1:72 RR's
-BBK adj FPR
-B-303 cam
and an otherwise stockish shortblock.

im sure they'll be a bigger fuel pump somewhere in there. not to mention i could go with either 19's or 24's for injectors.

well guy's you think it's feasible

might as well switch to mass air'ed as long as you can pick up a computer and harness cheap.

likely bad stall/surging and nasty rich will be the result..I would not recomend an alpha cam for any combo never mind an SD car. There are SD friendly cams avaialbe, check out www.50tech.com for better options.

yeah, but a b-cam is already in it, so no reason to pull it.

well no reason for your car to run good then huh?

Like D said, not a SD friendly cam, go mass air or switch cams, one or the other.

try it and see how it works.....worse case you will need to spend a few hundred bucks and a few hours to convert to mass air
