Ouch, I'm sorry. Looks like it wasn't your fault, at least. When you getting a replacement? Are you stickin' with a stang?

Looks like you got lucky! Also looks like the airbag did not deploy. If it is totaled, buy hte salvage and do a restomod on an older car! If you really want to piss them off, put the drivetrain in an old camaro or chevelle! Perfect oppurtunity from your unfortunate misfortune!

The window was shattered. It all happened so quickly, I remember seeing shattered glass flying towards the center console as I was spinning out of control. I was on a winding road, two lanes coverging into one, me and the other guy were going to fight for that one lane. It had rained the night before, and normally I keep on the TC if the road is wet, not this morning. Lost control of the rear end, hit the median and spun around, jumping the upcoming median and doing some property damage before coming to a rest on the other side.

I can't open the glovebox

I assume it's because of this, is this the frame?

Officer was amazed I was able to walk away from this literally unscratched. She even felt sorry and said "this is such a beautiful car" No citation issued, I was really nervous about being an out of state driver in an accident in Georgia but she didn't even say anything about it. She did notice that the actual tab was expired, but I told her I had updated registration, which she verified, and that my license plate frame had covered over it so I just hadn't gotten around to it figuring no one would notice.

How in the hell did you get away with no citation? Out of state, from the North in the South. You got double lucky on this one. Glad you're ok.

Ya know I honestly think it was because the officer was a woman. I didn't flirt or anything, I was completely honest about everything, and I could tell she felt sorry for me. She even said how it was such a shame and that it was a beautiful car. She radioed for a wrecker, and after all that, answering questions, getting some info exchanged, she was like "alright get on out of here and go see a doctor." Considering what could have happened, and the way things turned out, I'm counting my blessings.

Traction Control

its a shame that things went down like that - you have my sincere regrets.

Think about putting a Posi (T-lok) rear-end on the next one ....

FWIW / I'm not at all impressed with the Ford Traction Control system.

BEST OF LUCK WITH THE NEXT ONE! :SNSign:

While each and every one of us is entitled to our own opinion, this comment was completely uncalled for and unnecessary...

I agree ....

Its not like we all haven't done something dumb behind the wheel or anything.

Some of us are just luckier than another fellow might be on those occasions,,,
