Fighting for a lane, eh? Was it really that important to ya? Couldn't just ease off the gas and let the guy have it?

I am truly overjoyed you walked away from this... just remember... no one else did this to you. I trust it will be a valuable learning experience.

Yeah... we've all done stupid things behind the wheel. Some of us live, some don't. Glad you survived.

I am glad he didn't get hurt i wouldn't wish bodily harm on someone

However, the truth hurts sometimes doesn't it

I'll admit, I was being a jackass and it was a tough lesson to learn that. No feelings hurt here. I realize I got very lucky here on more than just one thing, first, I made it through ok. Second, no one else got hurt for my irresponsibility. Third, no citation. Has this been a dark cloud over my head the last week? Of course, but thankfully no one was hurt. I can move forward, and obviously I'm humbled by it.

I have no idea if the banana was edible or ridden with glass shards, certainly wasn't going to try, hopefully an animal or anything didn't sniff it out and find out while it has been sitting.

You know, in some cultures, its bad luck to travel anywhere with a banana in your possession. In Hawaii, never go in a boat fishing with a banana, bad things and no fish will occur. Sorry about your loss. Blame the banana.

Bananas are considered to bring very bad luck on boats. Maybe they bring bad luck to cars.

Odd, I normally don't take any food into my cars. Usually I'm up in the morning with enough time to enjoy a breakfast. Not sure why I brought a banana to snack on that day, maybe I did bring some bad luck haha.

True story - about 8 years ago I am on a boat off the FL Keys with a group of customers trolling for mahi mahi. Several hours pass in the August sun without a strike, drinking beer is getting very boring and the day is looking like a total bust. The ad exec for our company who came on the trip decides that she needs a snack and pulls a banana out of her lunch sack. The captain, who's up on the bridge, sees the banana and comes flying down the ladder. The captain exclaims, "no bananas on a boat - its bad luck", grabs the banana and throws it into the Atlantic. The banana no more than touches the water and two of the outriggers have "fish on!!". True story.
