Im in Detroit but i can help. Sell the tweecer and buy a PMS! :nice:

But no honestly, why did u buy it and install it without researching how to use it? I guess you thought it would be easier than it really is. I suggest you start using the search button...grab some pop corn, pen, paper, and start taking notes. There are sites out there that people made making notes on them. The information is there...you just gotta make the effort to learn it all. Once you learn it, the tweecer can be a pretty bad ass tool.

BUMP...maybe Grady will see this and come to the rescue.

Yea grady is the MAN but he's not gonna come in here and teach on the first day of class. This guy has got to do what EVERY OTHER tweecer user has done....spend the countless hours reading, learning, and TRYING to do it. Then come back to people like grady for small tips/hints for success. If thats not possible...then go get a PMS or better yet a chip. Those are LEAPS and BOUNDS easier to use...or to start using atleast.

I have downloaded the software from Tweecer web site cuz my order didint come with the cd
i have my tweecer installed on the EEC and the laptap did find new hardware so i did the driver install

and the main problem i have is how to with the functions
when i got it connecting i saw that was reading board rev and when i starded the car the dashboard on the pc screen with all the gauges did not work

Have you looked at the hardware & trouble shooting forum at

http://eectuning.org/forums/

I cruise through those threads every now and then and it seems like lots of them are made by peeps just geting started. Perhaps you could find your answers there.

I do not use your same version of software but I think you still have to build a payload in CalEdit that dictates the items that show up in your CalCon d logs. You might check into that but again, it is just a guess on my part.

Keep at it, it does take some time to get in the swing of things.

Thanks Grady i will see what i can make out
My only problem is that i never had anything to do with EEC and i don't know how they work and how they function but i called up my best machanic that has a performance shop and he told me to bring my laptop and the car on saturday i know that he's going to show me what is what and how you doing so i may get some help on this thing
thanks again
but still i will try to search more to get to the point that i want to be at :)

You just cruise the tuning sites like you most likely cruise by the various Stang sites and every day you learn a thing or two and before you know it, you start to see the light.

You don't have to know everything about how the pcm does its thing. Just basic things to start out can do a lot help you feel a bit more comfortable.

In a nutshell .........................

learn a little-tune a little
learn a little more-tune a little more

You just build a knowledge base...and you determine how much and how fast you want to build it.

Man listening to all this Tweecer talk is making me anxious :bang:

Well, almost got the money saved up anyways!!

Anxious for a headache, ive had mine for 2-3months and I cant get it to work right yet. When I read the eec and then just try to write it back to a position it will not work, anychange that I have made(rpm changes) will not take. The car will idle for 10 seconds and your eyes will start burning from it flooding so bad and it will die. I dont know what im doing wrong but it will not take anything I try to write to it? any help much appriciated

How about a different approach to isolating the prob. :)

My two main thoughts are ............................

Does the Tweecer have anything to do with the prob

Are any of your combo parts causing the prob
C&L Maf
TB
Ignition

The Tweecer is easy enough to remove for a see what happens test.

Of the three above combo parts above I would suspect the ignition or maf more than the tb.

There you have it ... my take on it ... for what it is worth :D
