I was thinking around 700hp max depending, but prolly chill at 400 in most applications. The reason being is, 1. I was wanting to slowly build up overtime starting with the block 2. oe parts are alot easier and cheaper to find if something breaks I can install the original part from my current and lower tune down till I get a replacement, and 3. Just cuz the block can handle up 500 hp doesn't mean it won't bust at 400 since it is closer to the top end of its rigidity and I would prefer a bigger cushion on how much the engine can take.Yes but...

What I mean is: How much power do you want in a street driven, 3400 lb car? What are you willing to spend to make that happen?
Yeah, and this will mostly be 400 hp with occasional tune up to 600 maybe 700, as I do plan to reinstall the stock exhaust system for street applications as so it will pass smog.Here is what a 700 HP build looks like:

So, I am looking at upgrading my 1995 mustang gt's 302 engine but the stock block, as you all know, isn't the strongest. So, I was wondering, is the Ford Performance M-6010-BOSS302 block compatible with oem parts, and if so how much and what exactly will I need verses what I can keep stock, until I can put more new parts in.
There is nothing making 700hp that you can easily swap a stock exhaust back onto. I'll sell you my catted frackenpipe that I used for 15 years to pass emissions here in Georgia. I've been emissions exempt here for a few years due to vehicle age.
