is the RPM extender good?

does it worth the price to get an RPM extender from ford? a frend is selling it to me in 150 bucks! what it does?
an other cuestion! i sold my cobra computer to get back a A9L did i did good?

Well, i agree with selling the cobra computer and switch to a regular one.

Why do you want the rpm extender? It's only useful if you are going to need to go past 6200, and if you are going past 6200 i hope it's not with a stock shortblock.

No, doesn't really do much at all.

Also figure it this way. A stock mustang needs to be shifted between 5000-5500.

I haven't a pretty potent combo, and i shift at 6000.

If you had a 347 with some good heads, i'd say use it, but i don't know what you have.

The extender also allows you to tune your WOT a/f. They work I guess, but they aren't even near the same league as a tuning device.
